Below you'll find what a typical day at the Three Sisters Village Forest & Nature School consists of
8:30am Drop off and gentle integration to the group for free play
Opening circle and Giving Thanks
Free Play & Building Relationship to Land and Living Things (i.e.,caring for the animals, tending to the plants and gardens)
Invitation to join a cooperative activity (i.e., sports, relay race, treasure hunt, fire building, meal prep in the mud kitchen)
Snack and Read-Aloud
Invitation to a planned activity (i.e., process art, creating an obstacle course, making salt dough and prints, exploring various musical instruments, cooking on a fire, forest hike, observing insects)
Free Play
Lunch and Storytelling
Invitation to start and/or continue a weekly project (i.e., building a bat shelter, or caring for a set of farm animals)
Free Play & Building Relationship to Land and Living Things (i.e., caring for the animals, tending to the plants and gardens)
Closing Circle and Gratitude Practice
3:30pm Pick Up
